Day 1

Week 8 - Welcome to Solutions and Solubility. This week we will be focusing on Day 1-3. For day 1 go through the Introduction to Solutions PPT and take notes. Once complete you can work on the homework for that section. Make sure to watched the embedded video lesson from the PPT on Water and Solutions. For day 2 watch the 2 video lessons on Total and Net Ionic Equations. There is a ppt that includes some of the information as well. Once watched start working on the homework. For day 3, watch the video lesson on solubility curves and go through the PPT. Complete the questions on the solubility curves. Under day 2 you will notice the Solutions and Solubility Booklet. Complete up to Day 7 on this.
FOR MONDAY - LIVE QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION HERE NOTE**** I have shared with you all a unique folder where you are to add all of your work for the weeks. Please make sure that the work you submit is clearly titled (pictures of written work are just fine) This folder is only shared between the you and myself. Water and Solutions Video Lessons |

Week 9 - Please go over the PPT/notes under day 4 and make summary notes. I have given you a mini lesson under day 5 on molarity and molality. I have given you practice problems with full solutions for this under day 5 (some dont have answers but the first big practice page does). Under day 6, you will find another mini lesson for dilutions and their concentrations. Lastly, I would like you to start working on the solutions stoichiometry problems under day 8. Before you start this you must have a firm grasp on how you calculate molarity and how to go from molarity to moles. If you need a recall on how to complete stoichiometry problems you can go back to last unit. These problems are the exact same except instead of starting with a mass, you are starting with a molarity and have to convert to moles. I have provided you with full solutions to help your understanding.
I will be hosting an online extra help session next week as per the request of the students who were on last week. As always, please email me if you have any questions. NOTE**** I have shared with you all a unique folder where you are to add all of your work for the weeks. Please make sure that the work you submit is clearly titled (pictures of written work are just fine) This folder is only shared between the you and myself. |

Week 10 - Please go over the PPT/notes under day 11 and make summary notes. Watch the video lesson on Arrhenius and. Bronsted-Lowry Acids and Bases. When completed, watch the two lessons under day 12 and work on the pH problems. After, watch the titration lab video lesson under day 15 and complete the titration practice problems. Lastly, Complete the unit test and submit in the online folder.
LIVE SESSION WILL NOT HAPPEN THIS WEEK, AS ALWAYS, MY EMAIL IS LIVE IN REAL TIME NOTE**** I have shared with you all a unique folder where you are to add all of your work for the weeks.
